The Loss
Frank Pierre passed away in February 2026.
The grief was immediate and total. For Hassan Pierre, losing his father meant more than the loss itself — it meant facing, within days, the mountain of paperwork that American bureaucracy places on every grieving family.
The SSA needed notification. So did the IRS. The bank. The insurance company. The utility providers. The credit card companies. Each institution required a formal letter. Each letter required the same information — transcribed by hand, over and over, from the death certificate sitting on the kitchen table.
The Realization
There has to be a better way.
30+ institutions. Different forms for each. Every phone call meant explaining the death again. The research alone said 200+ hours of administrative work lay ahead — on top of the grief, on top of the arrangements, on top of everything else a family faces in those weeks.
Hassan is an entrepreneur. He builds things. And he kept looking at the death certificate and thinking: every piece of information these institutions need is already on this document. Why is a family required to type it out thirty times?

The Search
Nothing existed.
Hassan looked for tools that could automate the notification process. He found estate planning software — tools that helped you organize assets before death. He found checklists. He found estate attorneys at thousands of dollars an hour.
He did not find anything that automated the painful part: taking a death certificate and generating the institutional notification letters that every family needs to send.
The Decision
No family should go through this.
